Information for Prospective Clients

Insurance:
I do not bill insurance.  Depending on your out-of-network insurance coverage, you may be able to get some reimbursement from your insurance company after you have paid for your sessions.  I  provide invoices (called superbills) for this purpose on a monthly basis. They are automatically generated and can be found in your client portal.

If you want to check in advance and see if your insurance company provides coverage for therapy with an out-of-network provider, here are a few of the procedure codes they will need to know:

individual 45 min session(38-52 min): 90834-95
individual 60 min session(53+ min session): 90837-95
couples/family session(45-60 min, minimum of 26 min, no maximum time limit) 90847-95*
diagnostic evaluation: 90791-95

Please note that many of my couples opt for 90 minute sessions to maximize benefit in terms of skills rehearsal and more efficient progress within a given session. Unfortunately, as of 2023, there is no CPT code nor "time extender" code that can be added to an individual session(90837) or couples session (90847) to reflect sessions longer than 60 minutes.
